NIA issues sketches of Pakistani terrorist Naved's accomplices

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday released sketches of two alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists who infiltrated into India along with captured Pakistani militant Mohammad Naved Yakub.

Zarghan alias Mohammed Bhai, 40, and Abu Okasha, 18, both residents of Hazara region of Pakistan's Khyber Paktunkhwa province, entered India along with Naved who was caught alive after attacking a BSF convoy in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district on August 5.

"Zarghan, Okasha and Naved had infiltrated into India with the intention to commit terror attacks," said an NIA official.

Apart from releasing the sketches, the NIA also announced a cash reward of Rs.5 lakh for anyone providing information about the terrorists.

 

"The identity of those giving information about the two terrorists will be kept secret and he will be provided Rs.5 lakh reward," the official said.

Naved, who is in NIA custody, was caught by the villagers a few hours after the Udhampur attack on a Border Security Force (BSF) convoy in which two of its personnel were killed.

The NIA on Tuesday also conducted a lie detector test of Naved.
