A key index of Indian equities market, Nifty, was trading at 2.85 points or 0.04 percent up Thursday after touching a record high of 7,732.40 points a day earlier.

The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was trading at 2.85 points or 0.04 percent up at 7,728 points during the pre-noon trade.

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) halted trading Thursday morning across all its markets due to network outage, the exchange said in a statement.

Due to a network outage, the BSE has decided to close all markets. Network service vendor HCL team is working to resolve the glitch. Once the network issue is resolved, the markets will restart, the statement explained.
