A Nigerian national whose genitalia was damaged in a serious accident 12 years ago was operated upon at a private hospital here.

A laparoscopic and bariatric surgery team of Saket City Hospital led by Ashok Gupta successfully performed the rare and complex surgery on the 42-year-old Nigerian, Macwick.

"His condition was the rarest of rare. He had a serious accident 12 years ago, leading to severe injury to his genital parts and difficulty during urinating and passing feces. The severity of the problem affected him so much that he was unable to carry out his normal activities," Gupta said.
