Skills and talent development provider NIIT on Monday announced winning a 10-year contract from Statoil ASA, a Norwegian oil and gas major, to offer managed training services.
"The deal envisages providing managed training services for 10 years, renewable after first five years to run Statoil's core operations," the Delhi-based company said in a statement here.
As part of the deal, the Norwegian firm can also buy NIIT's suite of products and solutions, such as learning and competency advisory, content development and strategic sourcing.
"Winning Statoil's competitive bid reinforces the work we did for it in the last five years and testifies the trust of global firms in us to deliver quality and value of learning outsourcing services," NIIT's corporate learning group president Sapnesh Lalla said.
NIIT, however, did not disclose the value of the deal.
