Actor Taaha Shah, whose "Baar Baar Dekho" hit the screens on Friday says the director Nitya Mehra will be a game changer for the Indian film industry.
"I am actually very excited that Nitya as a debut director will change the way people look at Indian movies. The way she writes her stories, understands the characters and has a wide point of view on various topics and ideas is quite commendable," Taaha told IANS.
"What I adore about Nitya the most is the fact that she would never demand and say how she wants a scene, even though her approach to the same scene would be different, she would let us do it in our way and go ahead with it very graciously," he said.
Taaha, who is from the UAE, dropped his studies as he started developing interest in modelling. He made his film debut with "Luv Ka The End" and was later seen in Karan Johar's "Gippi".
Shah says despite being a debutante, Nitya had a great clarity about her work.
"She belongs to a breed of directors who inspite of being debutants, are so prepared that it seems as though they have done this for the longest time."
