West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi who holds the additional responsibility of Bihar, Saturday said he was yet to receive any communication recommending dissolution of the Bihar assembly.
"I have not received any such request so far," Tripathi told the media on the sidelines of a programme here when asked to comment on reports about Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi recommending dissolution of the assembly.
Tripathi however said that he has removed two ministers from the Bihar cabinet according to the chief minister's recommendation.
"I have taken the action according to a letter which I had received last night. I have dismissed two ministers on the recommendations of the government," he said.
Manjhi had written to Tripathi recommending removal of two ministers in his cabinet who are close to his predecessor Nitish Kumar.
