No row with AAP, only matter of interpreting constitution: Shah

BJP president said the matter would go to court and will be settled

The BJP on Tuesday denied any row or tussle for power between the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government and BJP-led central government over the home ministry's notification granting supremacy to Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung in matters pertaining to pubic order, police, land and services.

"The so-called row with the Delhi government is not a row. It is a matter of interpretation of the Constitution," BJP president Amit Shah said during a press conference at the party headquarters here.

"The matter will go to court and will be settled," he added.

Delhi's AAP government has convened a two-day special assembly session to discuss the central government's notification that it termed "unconstitutional".
