Popular host Jimmy Kimmel says he is not very "excited" about the upcoming 68th Primetime Emmy Awards this year.
Kimmel, who hosts the talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Star World and Star World HD, spoke to radio and television personality Howard Stern about hosting the ceremony.
He shared that even though it is a huge opportunity, it is much more difficult than doing a 20-minute show as there are a lot more dynamics involved.
"I wouldn't say I am excited about that or anything. Wrangling everybody is very difficult, it's difficult because you really only have three or four minutes to do your monologue, you really have to make sure your material is strong whereas when you are going on and doing 20 minutes at night, you have peaks and valleys," Kimmel said in a statement from the channel.
"Here, everything has to be precise, that's kind of a pain. You have to have a lot of back up options and sometimes it winds up completely different from the way it started," he added while talking about his stint as a host.
