NOTA second in Chhattisgarh assembly by-poll

None of the Above (NOTA) stood second with 13,506 voters in the Antagarh assembly by-poll in Chhattisgarh expressing their displeasure with both the contestants. The result for the by-election was announced Saturday.

There were only two candidates in the fray, BJP's Bhojraj Nag and Rupdhar Pudo of the Ambedkarite Party of India.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nag got 63,616 votes, while Pudo got 12,086 votes in the by-election that was held Sep 13.

The total number of votes cast was 89,208.
