MNREGA daily wagers continued their agitation for the fourth consecutive day here on Thursday in protest against delayed wages and in support of their demand for an increase in wages.
The protesters, rallying under the banner of NREGA Sangharsh Morcha, spent the day planning strategies to take forward the struggle of MGNREGA workers across the country.
Leaders from various platforms joined in to express solidarity with the struggle.
In the evening, a delegation from the Morcha met the Rural Development Secretary to press for its demands.
The NREGA Sangharsh Morcha agitation is scheduled to last till Friday.
