Indirectly targetting the central government, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that obstacles are being created because the Delhi government is doing "good work" for the public.
"Agricultural land circle rates declared void, Manish (Sisodia) summoned by Anti Corruption Branch (ACB), Waqf Board disbanded - several obstales being created only because we (are) doing good work," Kejriwal tweeted.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been summoned by the Anti Corruption Branch for questioning in the case of illegal recruitments at the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW).
LG also declared Mehboob Alam's appointment as Delhi Waqf Board CEO as illegal and dissolved the religious body on Friday.
Delhi Government had last year increased circle rates of agricultural lands in Delhi. Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung, however, asked the Delhi Government to withdraw its earlier notification as LG's approval had not been taken.
