One person was killed in a gas cylinder explosion in a shop in Khardah of West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district on Tuesday, police said.
The man was walking on the road when the loud explosion ripped off the shutters of the closed jewellery shop and left him injured.
Locals found the old man lying in a pool of blood and took him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.
