A 50-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker's body was recovered in West Bengal's Hooghly district on Monday, amid suspicion that he was murdered, police said.
The recovery of the BJP worker's body created a stir in the area.
"Somotul Dolui, 50, was found dead this afternoon. As he is a BJP worker, the family members and other supporters suspect he was murdered," an officer of Amta police station said.
