One Direction, Katy Perry lead 2014 AMAs

Boy band One Direction and singer Katy Perry lead the 2014 American Music Awards (AMAs), receiving three awards each.

Hosted by rapper Pitbull, the 2014 AMAs gave fans and viewers plenty of alluring performances and even more fashionable outfits to obsess over. The ceremony took place at the Staples Center here Sunday, reports eonline.com.

The show witnessed some power-packed performances as viewers enjoyed the sounds of big names including Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Iggy Azalea.

Apart from One Direction and Perry, Azalea also had an amazing night with her wins for Favourite Rap/Hip-Hop Album and Favourite Artist Rap/Hip-Hop Album.
