At least one person was killed and 10 wounded Thursday in an explosion in Pakistan's Quetta town, media reported.
"The bomb was planted in a car near Sabzi Mandi in Quetta town of Balochistan province," Dawn online reported citing police official Imran Qureshi.
Another police official said: "30 to 40 kilogrammes of explosive material was used in the blast."
The explosion destroyed two cars and partially damaged buildings in the vicinity.
Reports of gunfire were also received following the loud blast. No one has yet claimed the responsibility of the blast.
