One person was killed and 30 others were wounded when three bombs exploded in Thailand's Pattani province on Tuesday, less than two weeks after a series of blasts and arson attacks hit the country.

The first blast at 10.40 p.m. in a parking lot close to a pub caused no casualties, while the second at about 11.00 p.m. killed one woman and wounded 30 others, Xinhua news agency reported.

The third bomb, hidden in a trash can, exploded at about 11.30 p.m. near a local market and caused no casualties.

The blasts came less than two weeks after a series of unexplained explosions and arson attacks hit various provinces of southern Thailand, killing four Thai people and wounding dozens, including 11 foreign tourists.
