A police officer was killed and 13 people were injured on Sunday in an explosion near the main police station in the Turkish city of Gaziantep.
The blast hit the southern city, 10 km from the Syrian border, at about 9.30 a.m.
Nine policemen and four civilians were injured in the suspected car bomb attack, state-run Anadolu news agency quoted Governor Ali Yerlikaya as saying.
Private broadcaster CNN Turk reported that the blast occurred in front of the barriers of the headquarters.
Footage from CNN Turk broadcaster showed pieces of a wrecked vehicle near the station gates and several ambulances and fire brigade trucks at the scene of the blast.
