At least one terrorist was killed and two people injured in a terrorist attack at an airbase in the Pakistan's Balochistan province Thursday.
The incident took place when a group of terrorists tried to sneak into the Pakistan Air Force's Smungli Airbase in southwest Pakistan but security personnel foiled the attempt, Xinhua reported citing local media.
The terrorists opened fire at security personnel and hurled seven to eight hand grenades at them.
In retaliation, security personnel killed one of the terrorists.
The attack comes close on heels of brazen Taliban terror attack on Karachi's Jinnah International Airport June 8.
