The Delhi High Court on Thursday posted for November 10 hearing on the plea of AAP leader Kumar Vishwas against lodging of an FIR in sexual harassment case by a party volunteer, after the Delhi Police filed a status report saying complainant's female friend had denied any such incident having ever taken place.

Justice Mukta Gupta also asked the complainant to file her response on the plea of Vishwas who has challenged a trial court's order to lodge a first information report (FIR) against him under sections 354 (sexual harassment) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult modesty of a woman) of Indian Penal Code.

The trial court on March 16 this year said the complaint accusing Vishwas of making "sexually coloured" remarks and "advances" towards her required an investigtion.

In the status report, police said that the probe was going on and Vishwas was yet to be questioned.

The report said that the witness was the one who, according to the complainant, had called her to a 'kavi sammelan' held at a hotel here where Vishwas had allegedly made "sexually coloured" remarks and advances towards her. The female witness has denied the allegations made by the complainant against Vishwas, said police.
