Vienna, Oct 7 (IANS/WAM) The price of the OPEC basket of twelve crudes rose by over a dollar and stood at $46.08 a barrel on Tuesday, compared to $44.95 the previous day, the organisation's secretariat said.
The new OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Murban (UAE), Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia) and Merey (Venezuela). A barrel equals 159 litres.
