There were conflicting reports on the blast toll. Some media reports said that the toll was 59, while others put the number of dead at 60.
Over 110 people were injured Sunday when a teenaged suicide bomber blew himself up at the Wagah border, The Nation reported.
The prime minister has ordered an immediate inquiry and summoned report from Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
He also directed Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar to provide care to the injured and families of those who have died in the attack.
