Over one hundred Congress workers joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here on Monday in the presence of Home Minister Rajnath Singh's son Neeraj Singh.
The Congress workers, led by Jitendra Sharma, switched their political affiliation at a programme chaired by Neeraj Singh in Master Park, Khoda.
Ghaziabad city BJP president Ajay Sharma admitted the Congress workers into the party fold.
Besides, Neeraj Singh was also felicitated and the BJP workers asked him to contest the assembly election from Sahibabad constituency.
Singh, however, refused to comment on the demand and left the issue to the party.
