Pakistan is eyeing an economic growth rate of 6 percent by 2017-18 as it is believed the country's geo-political and strategic location can open up new vistas to make it a trade hub, a Pakistan minister said Thursday.
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal was talking to a delegation of Asian Development Bank here, Geo News reported.
Iqbal also said the Pakistan government is committed to reviving the economy through knowledge-based initiatives, public sector reforms, and building of modern infrastructure.
The government is determined to achieve the economic growth rate of over 6 per cent, he added.
