Pakistan High Commissioner Salman Bashir Friday paid a farewell call on External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid here, thanking him for all the courtesies extended and expressing hope that bilateral relations will see an upward trajectory.
"Good relations are in the interest of our peoples and the peoples of the region as a whole," said the outgoing High Commissioner, said a statement from the Pakistan High Commission here.
Bashir reiterated that Pakistan was committed to improving relations and both sides should have a full spectrum engagement, the statement said.
He is being replaced by veteran diplomat Syed Ibne Abbas, who has served as counsellor (Political) at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
