Leading Pakistani brand Lala Textiles will participate in the Surat Dreams exhibition to be held here June 29-30.

This is the first time that Lala Textile will be showcasing its brands for fashion connoisseurs in India.

After impressing international audience across Pakistan, Middle East and Britain at celebrated fashion weeks, Lala Textile is all set to embark its fashion journey in India by showcasing their signature collections, said a statement released by the organizers.

The signature collection is a melange of young and flirty silhouettes in sarees, suits and lehngas.

"India and Pakistan have always been closely related when it comes to fashion, which is primarily due to the commonalities in our cultures.

"In addition to this, the influx of international brands in the Indian industry has resulted in a fusion of traditional eastern and modern western culture, resulting in a dynamic mix of aesthetically pleasing and trendy fashion," said Pervez Lala, CEO, Lala Textiles.

He said a platform of the caliber of 'Surat Dreams' provided them the perfect launching pad for introducing their brand into the Indian market.

"After having received encouraging feedback from across the globe, we anticipate that the Indian fashion fraternity will too appreciate our pret clothing line," he said.

Started as a simple trading house in 1947, the Lala Textile brand has today grown to encompass four diverse retail brands providing accessible summer; midsummer and winter fabric ranges to women across Pakistan.
