A man who played music during Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's (PTI) rallies along with protesters were presented at a court in Islamabad Saturday.
Asif Butt aka DJ Butt and nearly 300 PTI protesters were arrested Friday from various spots in Islamabad, Dawn online reported.
Butt said that he took ample rest during his stay in the lock-up as he was exhausted from the month-long protest.
"I was there to do my duty and I will resume my duty at the sit-in," the DJ said.
According to the police, they had informed DJ Butt in writing that he was violating a capital administration ban on the use of loudspeakers.
The inspector general said that DJ Butt was also asked to keep the volume down so the sound did not carry to nearby sectors.

Butt met PTI chairman Imran Khan Peshawar in 2011.
From there onwards, his career took off as a DJ for PTI rallies.
The protests led by Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri began Aug 15 in an attempt to overthrow Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, whom they have accused of rigging the 2013 general elections.
