The residence of the bureau chief of a private news organisation was damaged in a bomb attack in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, media reported Wednesday.
Jamshid Baghwan, the Peshawar bureau chief of Expressnews, and his family members were unhurt in the attack Tuesday night, Dawn online reported.
According to the police, unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle had placed explosives outside Baghwan's house and fled from the scene after which the bomb exploded.
The blast caused damage to the exterior of the house and vehicles which were parked nearby.
About 800 gm of explosive material was used in the blast, the police said.
This is the third attack on Baghwan's residence with the first incident taking place in March and the second on April 6.
