Pakistani national buried in his forefather's village in Mewat

A 58-year-old Pakistani national, who came to India to attend a marriage ceremony in Mewat district of Haryana, died due to sudden illness and was buried in his forefather's village in the district, police said on Friday.

Sher Mohammad's father had shifted to Pakistan in 1947 leaving his cousins in Mewat.

Sher Mohammad came to India this month along with his 52-year-old wife Praveen and 5-year-old son Usmaan to attend the marriage ceremony of one of his relatives' grandson in Mewat's Hathgaon village.

Mohammad fell ill and his conditioned deteriorated for unknown reasons after he complained of chest pain, said Station House Officer Naveen Kumar of Bichore Police Station.

 

He was rushed to a private hospital and was later shifted to Shaheed Hasan Khan Medical College where he died during treatment.

He was buried in his forefather's village Hathgaon after getting permission from the administration.
