Actors Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood have been tapped to lead the upcoming spin-off of TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.".
Palicki and Blood will reprise their roles as Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird and Lance Hunter respectively. They first joined the series in season two, bringing a "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" like dynamic to the show, reports hollywoodreporter.com
Details of the "S.H.I.E.L.D." spin-off have been kept under wraps. It was previously reported that the story might draw a line from the plotline in the second season of the flagship series, with Inhumans and Deathlok rumoured to appear on it.
"S.H.I.E.L.D." executive producer Jeffrey Bell is leading the project from the front. "S.H.I.E.L.D." co-executive producer Paul Zbyszewski is expected to serve as showrunner for the potential new series.
