Actress Pallavi Joshi, who uses prosthetics in new show "Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai", says the make-up schedule, which sometimes takes almost six hours, is tedious and tiring.
She is seen playing the character of Devika Gaekwad, who is shown as a 30-year-old and even as an 80-year-old in the show.
"It's extremely tiring to sit for so long while someone works on your face all the time. And whatever little energy I have left is drained in shooting. But it's all worth it," Pallavi said in a statement.
The &TV show takes viewers on a soulful journey of two singing sisters by having music in as its backdrop. It focusses on the lives of two singing sisters Kalyani and Ketki and spans three generations. It stars Zarina Wahab and Amrita Rao also.
