Veteran ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas has lent support to the upcoming action-emotional drama on tiger conservation, titled "Mission Tiger".

"I have already worked on this project with NDTV, and I had even gone to Ranthambore with Amitabh Bachchan sahab apart from working on two other projects. I understand that tiger conservation is very important. It is an important issue, so if a film is made on it... a good film and if it highlights this, then it is a very good initiative," Udhas said on the sidelines of the 15th Khazana Ghazal festival.

The NDTV-Aircel Save Our Tigers project, was led by the megastar last year and Udhas had performed to raise funds.

"Mission Tiger", directed by Dipu Karunakaran, stars Vijay Raaz. It will release on the occasion of International Tiger Day on July 29. The film is jointly produced by Saju Fortune and Leegesh S.L. under the banner Fortune Cinemas.
