Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra on Saturday hosted the grand opening of the first store of Swedish fashion retail giant H&M in this suburb of the national capital and its fifth in the country.
The store, spread over 37,000 sq. ft, is located at the DLF Mall of India. It's the 4,000th store for H&M across the 61 markets that it operates in globally.
"I've always liked H&M's exciting and affordable fashion. There is plenty of inspiration in store to create your personal style," Parineeti said in statement.
Kick-starting the launch ere DJ spin offs and exciting giveaways for those in the queue. The energy took to another level when fashion lovers spotted Parineeti joining in the celebrations.
Having queued up almost a day prior to the launch, the first 10 customers in line received a gift card from the brand worth Rs.4000 each from the actress, while the next 200 fashionistas in line received a limited edition goodie bag and a gift card valued at Rs.500.

Country manager Janne Einola, area manager Mikko Alatalo and store manager Varun Pratap Singh, cut the red ribbon to welcome customers in the new store.
"We are determined to bring a unique fashion experience with every store opening and are confident that our customers will enjoy shopping at H&M in DLF Mall of India," Einola added.
The store has four floors, each dedicated to apparel and accessories for women, men, teenagers and children respectively. It will also feature sections for lingerie, H&M Sport, H&M Mama for expecting mothers and a plus size collection, H&M+.
