Park Ji-Sung has completed his return to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, signing a one-year loan deal from Queens Park Rangers (QPR).
Park will train with his new teammates for the first time Thursday. Awaiting his work permit, Park may play his first match in a few weeks, reports Xinhua.
The 32-year-old Korean midfielder had already undergone his medical examination by the end of July and had also agreed a permanent deal with PSV. However, he could not agree on termination of his contract until mid-2014 at QPR. After two weeks of negotiating all parties agreed on a loan deal.
Park earlier played for PSV from January 2003 to mid-2005. With the Dutch club, he captured two league titles (2003, 2005), the Dutch Cup (2005), the Dutch Super Cup (2003) and he also reached the semifinals of the Champions League with PSV in the 2004/2005 season.
Phillip Cocu, the current manager of PSV, was his team mate at that time.
After seven successful seasons at Manchester United, Park joined Queens Park Rangers in 2012. He played 20 league matches for relegated the London club that got relegated at the end of last season.
