"The sky will remain partially clouded with chances of light rains or thundershowers. The next few days are expected to remain the same," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
The city received 3 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours and the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 80 per cent.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 35.6 degrees, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degree Celsius, season's average.
