The national capital on Wednesday saw a partly cloudy sky, as the maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 31.9 degrees Celsius. Thursday is likely to see similar weather.
"There would be shallow fog on Thursday morning while the sky would remain partly cloudy throughout the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 30 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Wednesday's minimum temperature was recorded two notches above the season's average at 17.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum humidity was recorded at 92 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at the season's average at 30.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 18.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
