A passenger died after suffering from an health emergency on board an Iranian flight, which made emergency landing in northern Iran, on Monday.
The traveller, aboard Iran's Mahan Air Flight 085 en route from Moscow to Tehran, died despite efforts made to save his life in the Rasht Sardar Jangal airport, Xinhua news agency reported.
The report did not disclose the passenger's identity.
Mahan Air's flights have already made several emergency landings in recent years due to various problems.
In 2015, a Boeing 747 operated by the airline landed at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport after a part of its engine was detached from the plane.
