A passenger was nabbed by the CISF at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here for stealing money belonging to another passenger, officials said.

Rajesh Kapoor, who was supposed to travel to Mumbai by Air India flight AI-369, was handed over to Delhi Police by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for removing 5,800 Canadian dollars from the bag of another passenger during pre-embarkation security check, said a CISF official.

"After security check, he moved towards the boarding gate area and changed his dress to avoid detection," the officer said.

Then, on the pretext of forgetting his bag in the transit area, he tried to run away from the terminal but was chased and caught by CISF personnel at the arrival alighting point, he added.
