Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan was on Thursday shown black flags by protesters in his parliamentary constituency Hajipur in Bihar, police said.
Over two dozen protesters belonging to the Sanyukt Sangharsh Morcha waved black flags at the convoy of the Lok Janshakti Party supremo near a hotel in Hajipur, the district headquarters of Vaishali, where he was slated to address the media on the completion of four years of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government.
The protesters said they were expressing displeasure over Paswan's alleged neglect of Hajipur since 2014.
"No development project has been started or new work undertaken in Hajipur," they claimed.
