Peshawar city has made arrangements for the live telecast of the much awaited India-Pakistan World T20 cricket match on Saturday in movie theatres and food outlets.

According to sources, people are buying tickets worth 100 Pakistani rupees to watch the cricket match in the theatres, Dawn online reported.

Big size posters and banners were seen outside cinema houses to attract people, especially the youngsters, the sources said.

Hoteliers, restaurants and some non-government organisations have also made arrangements for big television screens to facilitate people to watch the match.

A cricket lover said that such arrangements were also made during the a Pakistan-Bangladesh Asia Cup match earlier this month.

Students, Waseem, Izaz and Asif, said they were eagerly waiting to watch the match.

They suggested that the government should ensure smooth power supply to consumers, especially on such occasions.
