Midfielder Willian has leapt to the defence of embattled Chelsea head coach Jose Mourinho amid the London football club's worst start to a season in more than 30 years.

The Brazil international on Monday rejected speculation of dressing-room disquiet, saying the players fully support the 52-year-old Portuguese, reports Xinhua.

"He is a very good coach, very positive with his players, one of the best in the world. I've learned a lot from him," Willian was quoted as saying by Sambafoot.

Willian has arguably been Chelsea's best player this season and his consistency has seen him cement a regular starting berth for Brazil's national team.

The 27-year-old believes he can take his game to an even higher level as he enters his peak years.

"My dream is to become player of the year, to win the World Cup, to be a legend at Chelsea," he said.
