It was a pleasant day with maximum temperature recorded three notches below the season's average at 26.6 degrees Celsius on Monday. The met department forecast a cloudy Tuesday.
"Mist is expected on Tuesday morning and the day is likely to remain partly cloudy," said an official of India Meteorological Department.
The minimum temperature on Monday was one notch below the season's average at 14.2 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 28 and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively.
