After a rainy weekend, the national capital saw partly cloudy sky and the maximum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 33.7 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is expected in the city on Tuesday, the Met Office said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Tuesday), there is no forecast of rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 35 and 24 degrees, added the official.
Monday morning was overcast and pleasant as the minimum temperature settled at 23.3 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 95 percent.
Due to incessant showers, Sunday's maximum temperature settled nine notches below the season's average at 26 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled four notches below the season's average at 23 degrees.
