State-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) on Tuesday reported a standalone net profit for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2016-17.
According to the bank, its standalone net profit during the quarter under review stood at Rs 261.90 crore from a loss of Rs 5,367.14 crore reported for the corresponding period of 2015-16.
The lender's total income during the quarter under review rose by 18.31 per cent to Rs 14,989.33 crore from Rs 12,669.21 crore earned during Q4 of FY16.
On a full financial year 2016-17 basis, PNB reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,187.24 crore from loss of Rs 3,689.77 crore in 2015-16.
The company's consolidated total income during the fiscal under review inched up by 0.56 per cent to Rs 57,225.66 crore from Rs 56,903.50 crore.
