Police officials in Florida had to rush to singer Aaron Carter's home after getting a call on a feared suicide.

After receiving a bizarre phone call about his welfare on Thursday, the police rushed to the 29-year-old's house. The concerned caller told the police that Carter appeared to be under the influence, reports tmz.com.

According to sources one of Carter's neighbours went to check on him, but nobody responded when they knocked.

However, the "Sooner or later" singer appeared fine as police arrived on the scene, according to a neighbour, as he was seen answering the door for the responding officers.

No word on whether Aaron was under the influence, as the worried caller claimed.
