A notice was served Monday on a former Rajasthan minister requiring him to be present for a medical examination in connection with a rape case registered against him on the complaint of a married woman, police said.
The 35-year-old woman accused former minister of state for dairy and rural industries Babu Lal Nagar of raping her at his government bungalow in the city Sep 11.
Nagar resigned Sep 20 following the rape allegations.
"We had got semen samples from the woman's clothes. We need Nagar's blood for a DNA test. A team which is probing the case was rushed to his residence today (Monday), but he was not found," said a police officer.
The officer said the team handed over a notice to his family members requiring him to be present for a medical test Sep 25.
The Congress-led state government Saturday recommended a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into the matter.
