FC Porto president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa has acknowledged that striker Pablo Osvaldo may leave in this winter market after having few opportunities since coming to the Portuguese football club.

The president of the Dragons was quoted on Monday by Portuguese media saying that Osvaldo may leave or stay and nothing is definite at the moment, reports Efe.

The Portuguese sports media have speculated for weeks on Boca Juniors' interest in the player.

Osvaldo, 29, landed in Porto from Boca Juniors on a free transfer as a candidate to be a starter in the team of coach Julen Lopetegui, but the sound performance of Vincent Aboubakar closed the doors on that.

The Italy international has participated in 11 matches so far this season, starting in only four and scoring only one goal.

Porto occupy first place in the Primeira Liga, only one point ahead of main rival, Sporting Lisbon, who they face on January 2 in the Portuguese capital.
