Actress Gurdip Kohli admits that making people laugh can be a daunting task, but she has improved her comic timing, thanks to the positive response to her character Himani in family comedy show "Best Of Luck Nikki".
The 33-year-old, known for her role of Dr. Juhi in the 2004 superhit show "Sanjeevani", is currently playing mother to four children in the show and expecting her fifth child.
"Post working in 'Best of Luck Nikki' and from the accolades and responses I have been getting from my fans, I think my sense of humour has improved considerably and that reflects in the way I approach each of my scenes and the overall performance," Gurdip told IANS.
"I genuinely believe that comedy is a difficult genre for an actor. It is relatively easier to make the audience cry, but comedy is very subjective ... One really needs to work on bringing in a comic sense to the role that is being portrayed," she added.
In "Best Of Luck Nikki", Gurdip plays the on-screen wife of Avatar Singh, played by actor Girish Sahedev, and the story revolves around their family where the fourth child Nikki (Ananya Kolvankar) is the central character.
The show, which airs on Disney Channel, is currently in its third season.

In Sunday's special one-hour episode, Gurdip's character will give birth to the fifth child and says it will be a treat for the audience.
"Our audiences will get to enjoy a whirlwind of emotions that a family experiences when a new baby arrives," she said.
"Interestingly, it's not just about the hilarious moments which, trust me, we have plenty in store, but also certain touching moments such as Sunny adjusting to being the middle child, Nikki embracing her role as the older sister and all this makes it relatable to every child and parent in a family," Gurdip said.
