The world's first-ever multi-national futsal league, Premier Futsal, will from Sunday start identifying and picking top local talents who will get a chance to participate in the inaugural season later this year.
The Mumbai leg of the talent hunt to be held at the Mumbai University Ground will end on Tuesday.
The effort will be to pick a total of 40 players -- five per city -- who will go on to represent their home cities in the league.
A total of eight cities will be venues for the talent hunt, where players between the ages 18 to 24 can participate.
India Test cricket skipper Virat Kohli, the brand ambassador for the league, along with futsal legend Falcao, on May 12 launched the talent hunt programme 'Launchpad' in Bengaluru.
Portugal and Real Madrid football legend Luis Figo is the president of Premier Futsal.
