Congress MP Priya Dutt attended the first look launch of forthcoming film "Policegiri", which stars her brother Sanjay Dutt in the lead role, and wished the entire team luck.
The promotional events of "Policegiri" is in full swing, but the actor couldn't be part of it as he is serving his sentence in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case in the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune.
But Priya pitched in for her brother and extended her support to the film's producer T.P. Aggarwal.
"I wish you the very best...this movie was very special to Sanjay and I wish you (T.P. Aggarwal) the best and all the success for the film," Priya told reporters Tuesday at the first look launch of the film.
Sanjay, 53, completed the shooting of "Policegiri" before surrendering May 16. Directed by K.S. Ravikumar, the film with Prachi Desai in the female lead is releasing July 5.
Actor Kumar Gaurav, who is married to Sanjay's elder sister Namrata, was also there and wished success to the film.
"I wish T.P. Aggarwal, Rahul Aggarwal and the whole team of 'Policegiri' grand success," said Kumar who worked with Sanjay in hit movie "Naam".
