Congress star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi Sunday accused the BJP of unnecessarily defaming her husband Robert Vadra, and said the opposition was "behaving like frustrated rats".
Asked about the BJP's accusations against Vadra, Priyanka Gandhi told media persons: "They are behaving like frustrated rats. I knew they would resort to spreading lies a few days before the polls."
The BJP earlier in the day released a documentary that alleged that Vadra made a Rs.300-crore empire out of fraudulent land deals, and had the support of his mother-in-law and Congress president Sonia Gandhi, and brother-in-law Rahul Gandhi.
"Let them do more such smear campaigns. I will not keep quiet. I will keep raising my voice against their negative, destructive and unabashed politics," Priyanka Gandhi said after an election rally in Rae Bareli where she was campaigning for her mother.
